There were hushed whispers and fingers being pointed at a sleepy white-haired man huddling in a crumpled white shirt and dhoti, when Indigo Airline's Kochi-Thiruvanantapuram-Chennai flight 6E 315 took off from Kochi on Monday morning.  It took the passengers some time to realise they had Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy sharing a cramped economy class seat with them on his way to Thiruvanantapuram. He was returning from campaigning for the Congress in Delhi's Assembly polls on Sunday.

Chandy, whose security was recently ramped up after he was injured in a political attack in Kannur was all alone.
