Anupama is an internationally acclaimed, refreshingly versatile sitarist. One of the finest disciples of the late Pt. Bimalendu Mukherjee of the Imdadkhani Gharana, she is also one of the foremost to have acquired the finesse and technical nuances of the Gayaki Style, bringing out its lyrical beauty and subtle nuances modeled on the human voice with the emotive cadences of sitar.

Monir, tabla soloist, accompanist, and teacher, was born into a musical family including his father, classical vocalist Ustad Hafiz Hossain, and his grandfather, North Indian classical vocal and tabla researcher the late Ustad Kader Buksh of West Bengal. He is a senior disciple of tabla maestro Pandit Samar Saha of Kolkata.
